Same thing happened to AC Shadows this year, which is a game I liked even more gameplay wise and first AC game in over a decade I've enjoyed, but that also had just too much content for me to play through.

Yeah, I'll be honest as much I did love GoT. The side missions especially felt a bit repetitive after a while. Same thing with Days Gone and even Elden Ring. Think that's just a byproduct of large open world games. There's only so many different missions and things you can do.

My main game lately has been Valheim. Any other Vikings here?

After hundreds of hours, today I discovered that in Photo Mode, one can change to time of day and thereby choose the lighting.

As a byproduct of this, it reveals the actual in-game time of day.
